The Stages of Sleep

When we are awake, our brains with a kind of wave, as beta waves. This allows us to quickly and operate as we have. The first phase of sleep with a transition from beta waves to alpha waves, a little slower and can be achieved by simple relaxation, even if they do not sleep. It is also during this phase, the Ruck hypnic may occur in which the brain is wrong muscle relaxation, and causes the limbs to move suddenly.

Level two is an interesting phase, because there are two unique features that no other platform has. The first is the sleep-spindle, the fast, rising increase in the amplitude of brain waves. The second is the K-complex, with sharp drops and rises in amplitude. More Theta waves (the next nature, alpha) are now in the whole brain.
